We started in 1986 as Women's Polytechnic, Dhenkanal. Our goal was to encourage more women to study technical courses.
In 2011, we became Government Polytechnic, Dhenkanal. Today, we welcome all students.
We are approved by AICTE, New Delhi and work under the Skill Development & Technical Education Department, Government of Odisha.
